Published July 21, 2021

Christian Kurtzweg, beloved brother and friend, died the weekend of July 10-11, 2021.  He is missed and grieved for by his family: Michael and Jo Fey, Steven Kurtzweg, Cindy and Frank Vientos, Mary and Richard Bauer, and all his nephews and nieces, as well as all of the good friends he has made in his life.

Christian, aka Mr. Hootenanny by friends, was a kind, generous person who could never pass up a yard sale or a good conversation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a decent carpenter and an all-around handyman. He taught his siblings’ kids how to fish and hunt. He always won over anyone with his smile. He was the early warning system for his neighbors and the post storm patrol. He will be missed by us all for the goodness that was at his core!
