Martha E. Heideman

Martha Ellen “Grammy” Heideman, age 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, Kan. She was born on December 16, 1947, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
She will be forever remembered by her two children, a son David, his wife Stephanie, and daughter Kristina, her husband James, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and extended family and dear friends.
Grammy loved spending time with her family and friends. She collected turtles, loved crossword puzzles and attending her grandkids’ special events, lending a helping hand to anyone and taking care of her dog Jonesy and her cat Kettles. She had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. “Watch for deer! I luv ya!”
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, at the Mound City Christian Church with Doug Tribble officiating.
