Arthur “Artie” Lee Snow, age 51, La Cygne Kan., passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, in his home surrounded by loved ones. Artie was born on April 15, 1972, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Larry E. and Judith K. (Button) Snow. Artie was united in marriage to Carla Wade on Nov. 9, 1991, (Deer Camp). They moved to La Cygne, Kan., in 1992. Artie was a member of the union and worked as a valuable leader and superintendent before retiring from George J Shaw.

Artie was the most amazing-loving husband, PaPa, Dad, son, brother, and friend. You could find Artie in a deer stand hunting, fishing, riding side by sides, golfing, camping, playing cards, archery, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents. Artie is survived by his parents Larry Snow, and mother Judith Snow; wife Carla Snow; daughter Lacy Stockton and husband, Dalton Stockton and their two sons Beckett, and Walker; son Tanner Snow and wife, Breanna Snow, and their two sons Dawson, and Lochlan; and brother Frankie Snow and wife, Deanna Snow, and their daughters Haley, and Brooklyn.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at the La Cygne Christian Church.  Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Mound City.
