Betty Louise McNabb, age 87, Pleasanton, Kan., died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, and was born at Foster, Mo., on Jan. 29, 1929, the daughter of Olen and Mary Jacobs Jackson. She graduated from Pleasanton High School.
She married James Kenneth McNabb on June 14, 1950, at Pleasanton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1996.
She was a ranch wife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing bridge.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth E. McNabb; and a brother, Edward Dean Jackson.
Betty is survived by two sons, James L. McNabb and wife Sandra, and Patrick McNabb and wife Alice; a daughter, Mary Lou Brownback and husband Herbert; a sister, Alice McNabb; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at the Woodland Cemetery, Mound City, Kan. The family suggests contributions to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
