Betty Sue (Hearn) Stark, 65, of Fontana joined her heavenly family Dec. 2, 2018, at home surrounded by family and friends.
Betty was born on Oct. 22, 1953, in Fort Scott, Kan., at Mercy Hospital to Philip J. and Marjorie M. (Jackson) Hearn. She grew up and attended school in Pleasanton, Kan.
On March 17, 1972, she married Danny Stark, and to this union a daughter was born. The family moved to California for several years, moved to Tennessee for awhile then back to California. The marriage ended in divorce.
In 1980 Betty met and fell in love with Chastain (Butch) Nolan. They moved to Osawatomie, Kan., where they made their home.
Betty was preceded in death by Butch; her father; mother; stepmother Ardell; one sister, Claudette; and one brother, Steven.
She is survived by her daughter, Shandell (Darren) Timkin; grandson Ryne; granddaughter Jassandra; four brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Hearn, Frank (Sharon) Stark, Dany (Pam) Stark and Johnny (Tami) Stark; three sisters, Paulette (Hearn) Bennett, Sherry (Stark) Oelrich and Margie (Stark) Beckham; sister-in-law Jody (Nolan) Russell; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was proud of her daughter and family, adored her grandchildren, and loved her family and friends. Betty was a happy-go-lucky person and loved pulling pranks on everyone. She loved to cook, sew, go fishing and play outside with kids.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Inurnment was Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at the Trading Post Cemetery, Trading Post, Kan.
