Brenda Carol Meyer, age 62, Mound City, Kan., passed away on March 5, 2020, at her home. She was born on July 28, 1957, in Iola, Kan., the daughter of Virgil Keith and Wilma Carol Gillmore Murrow.
She was married to Sam Meyer on June 14, 1974.
Brenda was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, building fairy gardens with her grandchildren, and Dr Pepper. Her favorite saying was “Can't, can't do anything.”
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kirby Murrow.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Sam; three sons, Calvin Meyer and Aggie, Jesse Meyer and Kate, and Mike Meyer and Joanna; three brothers, Kelly, Mike and Eugene Murrow; a sister, Debbie Wolken; and six grandchildren, Gabriel, Theryn, Kyndal, Casey, Abbigail and Lillian. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, March 9, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mound City with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
