Carol Elaine Williams, age 83, Linn Valley, Kan., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024. She was born on Sept. 2, 1940, in Tulsa, Okla. She graduated from Paola High School. Carol was united in marriage to Phil Williams. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Ella McDaniel; a son, Robert Williams; and a daughter, Lisa Williams- Martin. Carol is survived by a daughter, Terri Thies; a son, Donald Williams; two sisters, Karen Marks, and Glenda Kampling; eight grandchildren, James Thies, Donny Williams, Robin Williams, Ashley Gangle, Kristy Wilper, Raymond Williams, Robert Williams, and Jessica Williams; and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, at the Louisburg Cemetery, Louisburg, Kan. Memorial contributions are suggested to National Stroke Association. Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
