Danny Matthew Bryant, age 52, born in Harrisonville, Mo., peacefully passed away at his home on Feb. 9, 2021. Danny leaves behind his parents, Judy Ridge (David) of Mound City, Kan., and Denzil Bryant (Penny, preceded) of Clinton, Mo.; two furbabies, Molly and Cocoa; two daughters, Andrea Jones (Dustin) of Clinton, Mo., and Summer-Rain Cherokee of Mound City, Kan.; one son, Danny Matthew Roy, Jr. of Mound City, Kan.; three grandchildren, Alexander, Aeris and Christopher, of Clinton, Mo.; a brother Micheal Ridge (Maggie) of Strasburg, Mo.; three sisters, Renee’ Anderson (Ben) of Mound City, Kan., Jolene Dove (Peter) of Independence, Mo. and Precious Greenwood (Terence) of Clinton, Mo.; several aunts, uncles and cousins, numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents the late Venice and Mary Younce of Strasburg, Mo.; grandparents Emery and Nancedia Bryant of Kingsville, Mo.; and brother Rocky Bryant of Clinton, Mo.
He worked as a bricklayer and carpenter for many years. Danny enjoyed fishing, he loved Big Creek, and hunting for game, arrowheads, shed, mushrooms and four-leaf clovers. He enjoyed anything outdoors; camping and bonfires, playing ball, loved football, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, playing horseshoes and tossing around the nunchucks, which he became very good at. He enjoyed playing in the snow, when Andrea was little, built snowmen that looked like a rabbit and put antlers on top. Blaring music was his favorite pastime; from Ozzy, Black Sabbath to Country Gold. He loved to hang with family and friends. Playing cards, music trivia and yahtzee. He was good with his hands, enjoyed drawing and carving. He will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
