David Lee Sheafer, age 45, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was born on Feb. 26, 1977, in Lansing, Mich., the son of Eugene and Cynthia Sheafer. He attended Gardner High School. He was united in marriage to Murie Bolen on March 11, 2018. He worked in construction, heavy equipment operating and lawn and tree care.
David enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, grilling, motorcycling, video games, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Sheafer. He is survived by his wife, Murie; mother, Cynthia Sheafer; three brothers, Chris, Sam and Casey Sheafer; three sisters, Penny McCoy, Monique Havlas, and Maggie Sheafer; sons, Xavier and Alexander Sheafer; daughter, Paige Sheafer; stepdaughters Ariel Geil and Piper Bolen; and four grandchildren, Kellin, Atlas, and Miles Sheafer and Finnick Bolen; and many other relatives and countless friends, as David never knew a stranger.
