Delma J. (Hoyt) Colegrove, age 74, Mound City, Kan., passed away peacefully in her home Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born on May 21, 1949 in Prescott, Kan., the daughter of Lester and Mary Campbell Hoyt.

Delma lived for her family and friends, enjoying any time everyone was together. Delma spent many years in Linn County working in the medical field and as an EMT. She later owned her own bookkeeping company and a Subway Restaurant. Sitting on her deck watching humming birds, listening to the wind in the trees was one of her favorite past times. Bragging about her grandkids was always a highlight for her.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Mound City Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Jayhawk Linn FFA or Music, or Linn County 4-H Council.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
