Denver Lee Reagan, Jr., 45, of Blue Mound, Kan., died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from a vehicle accident.
Denver was born May 29, 1978, in Iola, Kan., to Denver Lee, Sr. and Lori Jean (Marker) Reagan. Denver loved being outdoors; especially the time he spent logging with his father and brother. Some of Denver’s favorite outdoor activities included mushroom hunting, and fishing. Denver loved animals and was always rescuing one species or another, but especially loved his rescue cats. His greatest joy was hanging out with his best buddy, his nephew, Henry. Denver never met a stranger. He had a big heart and was always helping others. We will miss his infectious laugh, smile and sense of humor. Denver was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
Denver was preceded in death by his father, Denver, Sr., on Oct. 9, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Lori Reagan, of Humboldt, Kan.; brother, Zachary Reagan of Mound City, Kan.; sister, Angela Ahlers and her husband Mitch; and his nephew Henry Ahlers, all of Grimes, Iowa.
A graveside service will be held at Sunny Slope Cemetery, Blue Mound, Kansas on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Scott Paws and Claws Animal Shelter, 8 N. Judson Street, Fort Scott, KS 66701, or online at fspawandclaws.org.
Arrangements are under the direction of Schneider Funeral Homes & Crematory, Mound City Chapel, Mound City, Kan.
