Diana Lynn Kessler, age 61, Blue Mound, Kan., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at the Olathe Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 28, 1957, at Olathe, Kan., the daughter of Russell and Marie Burt Clay.
She enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She loved Christmas, Thanksgiving and July 4th celebrations.
Diana and Joe Kessler were united in marriage on Sept. 1, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Russell and Marvin Clay; and a sister, Patty Hooper.
Diana is survived by her husband Joe; two sons, Jon Sneed and Steven Sneed; a daughter, Terisa Lynn Sneed; a brother, David Clay; a sister, Kathy Newcome; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to service time Thursday at the chapel.
