Donald Dean McQueen, age 72, Pleasanton, Kan., passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Olathe Hospice House. He was born on June 17, 1943, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Oliver and Lola Mitchell McQueen. He married Donna Martin on Nov. 9, 1961, in Kansas City, Kan. He worked in the housing industry taking care of maintenance.
He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and most of all spending time with his family. In his early days he was a member of the Argentine Bulldogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; son Donald Dean McQueen Jr.; three brothers Kenny, Marty and Mike McQueen.
He is survived by two daughters Sue Meyer and Lora Ralle; three sisters Jean Brown, Judy Everhart and Peggy Greenfield; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial was in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
