Donna Jane Nickell age 75 of Osawatomie, Kan., died Sunday July 16, 2023, at Olathe Medical Center.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Gary Wayne Nickell; her parents; siblings Jay Meeker, Jeff Meeker, Gena Gansen and Jo Hampton.

Survivors include her children Barbara (Bill) Smile of Lenexa, Kan., Tommy Joe Nickell of Nevada, Mo., and Jennifer (David Hastings) Nickell-Wilson of Osawatomie, Kan.; grandchildren Tiffany (Josh) Ross, Michael Platt, Garry Wayne (Candance) Wilson, Paige (Brant) Johnson, Blake Wilson, Tommy Nickell, Jr., and Samantha (Kyle) Lamb; great grandchildren Daniel Ross, Annabeth Ross, Bailie Wilson, Bryson Wilson, Oaklee Johnson and Ollie-Mae Johnson; along with nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Eddy- Birchard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Goodrich Cemetery. Memorials are to the Donna Nickell Memorial Fund send â„… Eddy-Birchard P.O. Box 430 Osawatomie, Kan. 66064.
