Gregory “Ziggy” Lewis Edgman, age 70, La Cygne, Kan., passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024. He was born in Orange County, Calif., on Nov. 21, 1953, the son of Lewis and Anna Blumenberg Edgman. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. 

He was a talented craftsman working as a Master Builder. Greg and his cherished companion, Cathy Wilson, had their first date over twenty-five years going to Area G of the Marais de Cygne Refuge and watched the eagles. He was fanatic about radio controlled cars. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Edgman; and a sister, Deborah Carano. Greg is survived by his dear Cathy; two daughters, Jodi Edgman and Lindsey Stogsdill; two stepsons, Mark Wilson and Kyle Wilson; a brother, Doug Edgman; and two sisters, Rebecca Clay and Melissa Edgman; and eight grandchildren, Mercedes, Dakota, Kyle, Zoey, Henry, Haven, Maddie and Hope.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Burial will be in the Star Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 at the La Cygne Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to FISH - Friends In Service of Heroes, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
