Gwendolyn Joanne Bradley, 90, died May 15, 2026, at her home in Cottonwood Falls, Kan. She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Pleasanton, to Emmett and Lena Claudine (McMillan) Lloyd.

Joanne graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1954. She worked for the extension office for Linn County, then for Braemoor’s making clothes.  She worked at Mercy hospital as a nurse’s aide, then transitioned over to doing insurance claims in multiple doctors’ offices until her retirement. Joanne loved to work in her yard and tend to the flowers she grew and was a member of Rainbow Garden Club. She also enjoyed crafting, took painting lessons, and sewing. Joanne loved being around children and babies the most. When Ralph retired, they traveled in their camper throughout the south and southwest parts of the United States.

Joanne married Kenneth Ray Roberts in 1955. They shared 25 years of marriage before he died May 28, 1980. Then on June 19, 1981, she married Ralph Bradley. They shared 38 years of marriage before he died on Jan. 1, 2020.

Joanne is survived by: children, Kevin Roberts of Pleasanton, Kurt Roberts of Cottonwood Falls, Penny Talmage of Ottawa; step-children, Mark Bradley and wife Kathryn, Steven Bradley and wife Julie, Bernice Albers and husband Ron; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; all ten siblings, Alice Holcomb, Ada Florine Atwood, Emmett Paul Lloyd, Wayne Allen Lloyd, Marjorie E. Wortman, Hazel Richey, Christina Vankirk, Francis Lloyd, Eileen Welker, John Grover Lloyd; infant son, Scott Roberts and son, Kenneth Dale Roberts.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Flint Hills Community Church, Cottonwood Falls. Family will greet friends following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Flint Hills Community Church, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home P.O. Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, Kan. 66845.
