Holley Shepherd, age 75, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, Kan.
Holley was born April 6, 1946, to Clifford Paul and Loretta Maxine (Downing) Rinker in Butler, Mo. She graduated high school in Butler, Mo. Throughout her career Holley worked as a waitress and cook at various places.
Holley enjoyed spending time with all of the girls going shopping, out to eat, or just being around them. She loved to play pitch. Family was very important to her and she will be greatly missed.
Holley is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Shepherd; parents, Clifford and Loretta Rinker; sister, Lola Bronson; and grandson, Cliff McKee.
Holley is survived by her son, Paul McKee and wife, Kristie; daughter, Tina Spiares and husband, Russ Gardner; sister, Mary Lou Lane; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous other family members and friends.
Memorials in honor of Holley are suggested to the Holley Shepherd Memorial Fund and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas or mailed to 1883 U.S. Highway 54, Iola, Kan. 66749. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.feuerbornfuneral.com.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
