Jacob William Gene Bradley, age 25, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Friday, July 3, 2015, at his home. He was born Jan. 6, 1990, in Fort Scott, the son of Rudy and Lisa Bower Bradley. He graduated from Fort Scott High School with the class of 2008. He then attended Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia, Kan. He married Olivia Cliffman on June 9, 2012, in Uniontown, Kan. Jacob enjoyed working on race cars and garden tractor pulls. He enjoyed barbeques and loved spending time with his children. He was a wonderful daddy, uncle, son and brother who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Olivia; a son, Landon Bradley; a daughter, Emma Bradley; his parents Rudy and Lisa Bradley, Fort Scott; a brother, Zach Bradley and wife Shelly, Fort Scott; a sister, Tiffnie Spears and husband James, Fort Scott; maternal grandparents Perry and Helen Bower, Fort Scott; and two nephews Eli and Luke Bradley.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dale and Helen Bradley; an uncle, Lloyd Bradley; and three aunts, Mary Ann Tennis, Lois Wisdom, and Sally Sumners.
Rev. Chuck Russell will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Landon and Emma Bradley Education Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, KS 66701. Words of remembrance may be submitted to the online guestbook at cheneywitt.com.
