James Roland Corbitt, former Pleasanton resident, passed away on May 10, 2018, due to a work-related accident. He was born on Feb. 13, 1952, in Tacoma, Wash.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James J. Corbitt and Isabel Persis Corbitt; and his best friend Bev Ansley.
He is survived by his daughter Alyson and spouse Ryan Lukins, grandson Tyson Benham and grand pup Aspen Kaye, a brother in Washington and sister in Hawaii, and two children from a previous marriage.
James was a long haul truck driver, who loved to travel and see the world. He enjoyed the views from the mountains and seeing the sunsets. He loved seeing his daughter every time he came into town. He was loved greatly, cherished immensely and will be missed more than words can describe.
