Janita Marie Clark, age 52, of Mound City, Kan., passed away at the Olathe Hospice House on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. Janita was born the daughter of Johnny W. and Sandra Moore Tolly on Feb. 20, 1969, at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. Janita loved animals, especially cats, and was known to have many around her house; she also loved to tinker with many different gadgets.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Moore. She is survived by her father, Johnny W. (Marcia); grandmother, Bonnie Tolly; two sons, Thomas Barry III and William Casey Winter; significant companion, Ed Owen; three brothers, Johnny E. Tolly, Jimmy Tolly (April) and Michael Tolly; two sisters, Jamie Curtis (Danny) and Melissa Frisinger (Paul); and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Burial will be in Star Valley Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, which may be sent in care of the funeral home to P.O. Box 304, La Cygne, KS 66040.
