John Roger McWilliam, age 65, Pleasanton, Kan., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Olathe Medical Center. He was the son of the late John Edwin and Imogene McWilliam, born on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1952 at Liberal, Kan.
He graduated from Pleasanton High School and worked in the landscape industry.
He married Karen Payne on Oct. 20, 2001.
He was also preceded in death by a son, John Paul McWilliam.
Roger is survived by his wife Karen; a daughter, Kimberly McWilliam Mayes and husband Jonah; three stepdaughters, Elizabeth Bradley, Patricia Savage and Alta Dotson, a sister, Elizabeth Arnold Moreno; five grandchildren, Noah, McKinzie, Wyatt, Jerry and CJ; and seven step grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at the Pleasanton Church of the Nazarene. Disposition was in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
Contributions are suggested to the church or the Roger McWilliam Memorial Fund.
