Jorge Rocha Sr. of Mound City, Kan., passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital at the age of 67. Jorge was born the son of Gilberto and Dolores (Garza) Rocha on Jan. 3, 1950, in Donna, Texas.
Survivors include his beloved wife Esther Rocha; three daughters, Anita Rocha, Dolores Rocha and Mary Rocha; three sons, Jorge Rocha Jr., David Rocha and Robert Rocha; four brothers, Gilberto Rocha Jr., Israel Rocha, David Rocha and Jose Luis Rocha; two sisters, Juana Guerrero (Jose) and Gloria Favela (Paz); 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a loving extended family with favorite niece Debra Sandoval and numerous more nieces and nephews.
Jorge was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Ascension Gomez, Irma Lopez and Maria D. David.
A funeral service was held Monday, April 17, 2017, at the Maple Hill Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan.
