Judith Lea (Casteel) Tervin passed away on Jan. 8, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1941, to Zelma (Davidson) and Lester Casteel. Judy graduated from Mound City High School in 1959.

She had three siblings, Vance Hyson, Lois (Casteel) Keating-Harrison and Max Casteel; and three children; two daughters, Carla Laderer-Conlin and Julia Palumbo, with Robert Laderer, and one son, Christopher Tervin, with Franklin Tervin, Jr.; along with a son-in-law Mark Conlin; six grandchildren: Jonathan Palumbo, Angela Palumbo-Rayburn, Blythe Wurtz, Tara, Cheyenne and Chase Conlin; and eight great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Gianni, Adrian, Beau, Aiden, Kellan, Fin and David.

Judy was dearly loved by her family and those who knew her well. No memorial service arrangements have been made at this time. Condolences can be sent to ccladerer@gmail.com.
