Karen Kay (Stuffings) Ahlemann of Overland Park, Kan., passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2018, at the age of 77.
Born in Pleasanton, Kan., she was preceded in death by her parents, Manford and Lula (Cantwell) Stuffings, and her older brother Merlyn Stuffings.
She is survived by Fred Ahlemann, her husband of 34 years; her sister,Virginia Kohl of Overland Park; her daughter, Verna (Collins) McMullin; son-in-law Chris McMullin; and grandchildren Lanie and R.C. McMullin, all of Olathe. She leaves many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Karen retired from Metcalf State Bank in Overland Park after a 41 -year career. She had many cherished friends.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, Kan. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Littell Cemetery outside Pleasanton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Littell Cemetery Foundation, or Kansas City Hospice House, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box 525, Pleasanton, KS 66075.
