Keagan Grubbs, age 8, Mound City, Kan., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, as a result of an accident. He was born on Nov. 4, 2016, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Jason Grubbs and Angel Balz. He was currently a student at Jayhawk Elementary School. He was an outdoor kid. He liked to fish, ride bikes and drive his go-kart. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Octavia Grubbs. Keagan is survived by his mother, Angel Balz; father, Jason Grubbs; brother, Rayjay Sulllivan; sister, Bella Trowbridge; maternal grandparents, Bobbie and William Trowbridge and William Balz, and Shelby Weaver.  

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at the Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City Chapel. Memorial contributions will be used to defray funeral expenses. Gifts can be sent to Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box 525, Pleasanton, Kan. 66075.  Online condolences can be made at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
