Kristina Dawn Weers-Colin, 42, of Parker, Kan., passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Advent Health Medical Center, Shawnee, Kan.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at Bucyrus Cemetery, Bucyrus, Kan.

Family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, Kansas, 66071.

 Kristina was born Tuesday, Feb. 19, 1980, in Paola, Kan., the daughter of James and Nancy (Walters) Weers.  

Kristina was united in marriage to Eddy Colin on Oct. 6, 2000, in Parker, Kan. They have three children Joey, Johnny, and Aryka.

She had worked as a laborer in construction for many years. 

 She loved fishing. She enjoyed cooking. Christmas was her favorite holiday; she loved making Christmas candy, and decorating for Christmas.  Most of all, Kristina loved participating in all of her kids activities and time she spent with her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her husband Eddy of the home; two sons Joey (Katrina) Weers,  of Parker, and Johnny Colin of the home; her daughter Aryka Colin of the home; two grandchildren Dexter and Sunni Weers; her parents James and Nancy Weers of Parker; her mother-in-law Esperanza Colin Carrillo of Mexico; three sisters Marie Hochhalter of Parker, Tammy Weers of Parker, and Paula Weers of Spring Hill; five brothers Larry (Michelle) Weers of Fontana, John (Lisa) Weers of Linn Valley, James (Lisa) Weers of Fontana, Jesse (Leslee) Weers of Parker, and Brian (Evette) Lovgren of Linn Valley; many other relatives and friends. 

The family suggests memorial contributions to Dengel & Son Mortuary to assist the family with funeral expenses, 305 North Pearl Street, Paola, Kansas 66071.
