Lea Ann Cleaver, 69, of Pleasanton, Kan., passed away at her home on Jan. 3, 2023. 

She was born Feb. 5, 1953, to her parents James Frank Kline and Gracia Lea (Naumann) Kline, living on an Ottawa County farm outside of Delphos, Kan.,  until the family moved to Delphos after the death of her father in 1953. Having moved to Minneapolis, Kan., in 1964, she graduated from Minneapolis High School in 1971. 

Lea Ann married Larry Cleaver  in Solomon, Kan., June 2, 1979.

Lea Ann, a KU Jayhawk fan, was a sweet, loving person, always ready for a laugh, adoring her granddaughters, and enjoying her Basenji dogs.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home, son Jeremy Paul Cleaver, Fort Scott, Kan.; granddaughters Jarin Storm and Jadely Rogue, and brother Frank Kline (Sue) Lecompton, Kan.

Cremation is planned and burial will be at Delphos, Kan., cemetery. A memorial service will be at a later date.
