Marci Ann Betts, age 50, Pleasanton, Kan., passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024. She was born on Aug. 6, 1973, in Kansas City, Mo. Marci loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed being outdoors. She liked grilling out, fishing and hunting, camping and swimming in the lake. She had a like for a wide variety of music. Marci is survived by her daughter, Cailian Burns; her mother, Becky Bockes and husband Harry; her father, John Shotwell; four siblings, Marc, J.P., Nate, and Michelle; and three grandchildren, Aaron, Tessa, and Jade.
A gathering to celebrate Marci’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to help defray funeral costs and can be sent to Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box J, Mound City, Kan. 66056. Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
