Marilyn L. Wilcox, age 83 of Fort Scott, Kan., formerly of Pleasanton, Kan., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at the Fort Scott Medicalodges. She was born Aug. 10, 1935, to Estil and Ruby Fyrn “Hunter” Harris in Leeton, Mo. Marilyn graduated from Leeton High School. 

She married Thomas R. Wilcox on Feb. 10, 1957, at the Leeton Christian Church. To this union three children were born, LeeAnn, Karen and Kristy.

She worked for and retired from the UMB branch in Fort Scott. 

Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Don Snow; a brother, Jon Harris; and a sister, Margery Brown.

She is survived by her daughters, LeeAnn Gonzalez, Fort Scott, Karen Snow, Pleasanton, and Kristy Holmes and her husband Chuck of Fort Scott. She is also survived by a brother, Phil Harris of Leeton, Mo.; and her grandchildren, Josh Snow and wife Taylor, Matthew Johns and wife Elishya, Collin Probasco and wife Heather, Kane Snow and wife Heather, Logan Probasco and wife Kyla, Shannon Miner and husband Bob, and Kyle Holmes and wife Anna Marie, along with 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:15 p.m. at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
