Marjorie Wilson, age 84, formerly of Pleasanton, Kan., passed away in Salina, Kan. Marjorie was born the daughter of Foster G. and Jemmie M. Easley Weems in Pleasanton, Kan., on Nov. 3, 1936.
Marjorie enjoyed sewing, water skiing in her younger days, dancing, going on cruises and watching her favorite television show, Blue Bloods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilson; long time companion, LeRoy Artman; a brother, Bill Weems; four sisters, Betty Cox, Dorothy Daggett, Wanda Staton and Carol Strode. Marjorie is survived by two sons, Dennis Weems and David Wilson; eleven grandchildren, Brent Weems, Christopher Weems, Ryan Weems, Amber Bradley, Mikayla Wilson, Ashley Leeson, Joseph Hunt, Jerome Brown, Jeremy Brown, Jerrett Brown, Joshua Brown; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Visitation was from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial followed in the Littell Cemetery.
