Marvin Lee Teeter of Enid, Okla., passed away on May 24, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Marvin was born on March 30, 1942, in Blue Mound, Kan., to Lewis and Ester (Scott) Teeter.
Marvin married the love of his life, Alece (John) Teeter, on May 21, 1964.
Marvin retired from Texaco as a million-mile safe driver, and enjoyed traveling and casino-hopping whenever possible.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of over 50 years; and his brother, Marion Teeter.
He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Teeter, of Mills Creek, Okla.; daughter Lisa Courtright and husband Wayne of Enid; daughter Connie Teeter and partner Lisa DeJesus of Kissimmee, Fla.; granddaughter Spencer Sissney and boyfriend Michael Brock of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter Sydne Knapp and husband Nate of Vail, Ariz.; granddaughter Kamie DeJesus of Kissimmee; grandson Kaden DeJesus of Kissimmee; great grandchildren Luca and Zara Knapp of Vail; and numerous nieces, nephews and many extended relatives in the Linn County area.
A Celebration of Life gathering was held at Stittsworth Funeral Home in Enid on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, followed by interment in Enid Cemetery.
