Max L. Field passed away peacefully on Aug. 7, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital. He was born in Forest City, Mo., in 1934 and lived in Kansas City, Mo.
Max was a U.S. Army veteran and a 32nd degree Mason. He attended McMurry United Methodist Church.
Max was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Betty (Derr) Field, and his brother, Morris Eugene Field. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Marlys (Simpson) George Field, and his brother-in-law, Gary Simpson, Mound City, Kan. Many nieces, nephews, friends and family knew his special love for them and his sense of humor and fun. Funeral details are available at dwnwhitechapel.com
