Maybelle Woolston, age 90, Mound City, Kan., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014. She was born on March 12, 1924, the daughter of Lee and Pearl Spivey Collier. She graduated from Stella, Mo., High School.
Maybelle and her husband Ed were married in 1944. Together they owned and ran the Chevrolet dealership in Mound City, Mound City Mobile Homes and finally the Big Dollar Store.
He preceded her in death on June 25, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry; and four sisters, Mary, Colleen, Wilma and Wilda.
She is survived by three sons, Paul Woolston, Robert Woolston and wife Vicky, and David Woolston and wife Jane; a sister, Dorothy Smith; and three grand, 10 great-grand and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at the Mound City First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the church. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
