Michael Lee Brady, age 65 of Stockton, Mo., passed away at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019. He was born at Fort Scott, Kan., on May 20, 1953, the son of Bernard Francis and Freeda Belle Commons Brady.
He was united in marriage to Ranay Vohs. To this union, two children were born.
Mike worked as a mechanic for the Union Pacific Railroad before retirement. He was active in ROTC during high school. He enjoyed being outdoors. He liked to hunt, fish, camp and boat.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Cloma Commons; and father Bernard "Barney" Brady.
Michael is survived by his mother, Freeda; a son, Justin Brady; a daughter, Kendra Miller and husband Eric; two brothers, Bernard Brady Jr. and Patrick Brady; three sisters, Kathleen Reed, Rose Snider and Karen Coats; and three grandchildren, Emma, Kaylee and Lochlan.
Graveside funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mound City, Kan. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m., Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.
