Nancy "Jeanette" Kobler, age 88, Linn Valley, Kan., passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020. She was born in Joplin, Mo., on June 10, 1932, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth Allhouser Hayes. She was a member and active in the Calvary Baptist Church, La Cygne Senior Citizens and TOPS – Taking Off Pounds Sensibly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale Kobler; and a daughter, Carol Rhodes. Jeanette is survived by two daughters, Nancy Price and Lynn Campbell; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.
Funeral service was scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at the Calvary Baptist Church, La Cygne, Kan., with 1 p.m. graveside at Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City Kan. Jeanette was to lie in state from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.
