Paul Vee Claytor, 49, of Mound City, Kan. died unexpectedly at his parents’ home in La Cygne, Kan., on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Paul was born April 8, 1966 in Melbourne, Fla., to Ernest Paul and Mary F. (Walker) Claytor.
Paul graduated from Prairie View High School. Paul worked in construction, concrete and pipe lines. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could do almost anything.
He was friendly and generous to all. He loved reading, studying, and discussing the Bible. His other hobbies were cooking, fishing, hunting, and camping. His greatest love and closest companion was his dog “Pug.”
Paul was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert Claytor and Ernest Claytor II.
Survivors include his parents, Mary and Ernest Claytor Sr. of La Cygne; son, Paul V. Claytor Jr. of Osawatomie; sister, Lisa Claytor of Pleasanton; five nieces, Shelby Claytor of Parker, Lindsay Claytor of Colorado, Kimberly Claytor of Harrisonville, Mo., Jody Claytor of Butler, Mo., and Elisa Hogan of California; two nephews, Codie Claytor of Osawatomie and Jesse Hogan of Belton, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends in Kansas and Florida.
Paul’s wishes were to be cremated. There are no services planned. Friends and family may leave online condolences at www.schneiderfunerals.com. Arrangements: Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory La Cygne Chapel.
