Randal Lloyd “Randy” Bresee, age 62, Blue Mound, Kan., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025. He was born on Dec. 22, 1962, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Carl and Ruth Doan Bresee. He served his country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Katherine “Kate” Tinsley on Sept. 17, 1994.
Randy was a plumber by trade. He enjoyed riding horses, shooting pool and Chiefs’ football. He was a member of the American Legion in Blue Mound. He was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings. Randy is survived by his wife, Kate; and four children, Melissa Cowen, Brandy Bresee, Gini Bresee, and Dennis Bresee; a brother, Mark Bresee; two sisters, Sherri Sanders, and Hattie Miller; and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City Chapel. Funeral service and military honors will be held at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family of Randy Bresee.
