Richard Lee Lindsey, age 69, Pleasanton, Kan., passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. He was born in Wichita, Kan., on Oct. 6, 1955, the son of Glen and Lilah Hall Lindsey. He graduated from Pleasanton High School. He then went to work for Smith Miller Construction and later Kansas City Power and Light, where he retired from.
He loved Chiefs football and frequenting Cookee’s Drive Inn. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and always had a “cool” car or truck. He was a collector of many things including coins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard is survived by a son, Josh Lindsey (Kalsie); daughter, Jessica Brandt; brother, John Lindsey; and six grandchildren: Lilah, Tot, Havyn, Titus, Eli, and Hugh.
