Rose Marie Burk Gypalo, age 74, of Algonquin, Ill., passed away on Monday Sept. 5, 2022. Rose was born on July 21, 1948, in Covington, Okla., and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mildred Burk.
Rose was a 50 year resident of Algonquin, where she retired from teaching after 35 years.
Rose will be missed by many, including her husband of 49 years John; and their children Adam and Dessa. Rose is also survived by siblings, Margaret Guilliams, Carol Buckman, Barbara Finnigan, Wayne Burk, Ruth (Gary) Hanser, Coleen (Jim) Stahl, and Kathryn (Mike Ford) Johnston, as well as many nieces and nephews.
