Scott Eugene Freidline, 40, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014. He was born Jan. 15, 1974, at Kansas City, Kan., the son of Dale and Anita Fisher Freidline.

He graduated from Pleasanton High School. He was a graduate of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. He worked on the Pleasanton Police Force, as a dispatcher for the Linn County Sheriff's Department and was most recently employed as a truck driver for Duvall Trucking.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita.

He is survived by two children, Miranda Freidline and Ryan Freidline; his father, Dale; and three brothers, Brad and Kurt Freidline, and David Sweat.

 

Memorial service was held Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Inurnment was at the Garnett Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Freidline Children's Education Fund. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
