Theresa Angelina “Angie” Eaton, age 84 of Osawatomie, Kan., died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Life Care Center of Osawatomie.
Angie was born Feb. 10, 1933, in Grainfield, Kan., the third of 10 children born to Jacob Joseph and Theresa (Phlieger) Meyer. She attended Jumbo school through the eighth grade.
In 1951, Angie married and together they had four children, Doug, Cindy, Alan and Belinda. The marriage ended in divorce.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Lilian Spies.
Survivors include her children, Doug (Kitty Brockett) Eaton of Paola, Kan., Cindy (Andy) Kramer of Parker, Kan., Alan (Nikki) Eaton of Linn Valley, Kan., and Belinda Bowman of Parker; six granddaughters, Lynnann Holmquest, Jami Turney, Valerie Rothwell, Audrey Mahurin, Deana Mock and Katie White; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Ron Meyer of Fernley, Nevada; seven sisters, Leona Carter of Colorado Springs, Colo., Viola Bechard of Thornton, Colo., Armella Dinkel of Loveland, Colo., Sister Christina Meyer of Salina, Kan., Rita Cooper of O’Fallon, Ill., Verlene Breckenridge of Topeka, Kan., and Jerry Kruse of Grinnell, Kan.; many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
There was cremation. Visitation was Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home.
