Zachary Eldon White, 32, of Mound City, Kan., died on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. He was born on June 12, 1992, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Roger and Jessica Smith White. His job description cut a pretty wide path. Could be anything from mowing, equipment maintenance, snow removal, street repair, even stuffing Easter eggs for the annual egg hunt.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and swimming. He liked to target practice, especially the annual Thanksgiving Clay Pigeon Shoot. He was an accomplished Fantasy Football guru. Zach was a fan of the Chiefs, Royals and KU Jayhawks. He had a passion for the Mound City Lake. Zach was a true friend to many. Not only did he take the time to help his family with any problem they might have, he always had time to help those he knew, with any problem, it didn't matter when or where it was.
