My name is Kevin Wood. I have lived in Prescott since my birth along with most of my family. I am married to my wife Kathy of 41 years. We have a son, Trenton Wood, who lives outside of Prescott, and a daughter, Leah, who lives in Fort Scott with our grandson Isaac and granddaughter Nevaeh.
I am self-employed as a construction contractor. I attend the United Methodist Church in Prescott, Kan.
For years my Uncle Jim Wood was mayor in Prescott and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I would like to once again run for this position to finish the work that I have already started as Mayor at this time.
Some of the things I would like to accomplish are finishing the work on our roads in Prescott and to get back our city functions that make us what our city is.
I have 12 years experience as Mayor and have the ability to work together with my council and community.
