On June 20 a suspicious death occurred in Mound City. The assisting agencies were the Linn County Sheriff’s Department, Mound City Police Department, Pleasanton Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. A suspect has been taken into custody regarding the suspicious death. There are no other suspects at this time.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Department will be the primary investigative agency; Mound City Police and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are also helping investigate the matter. No further comment will be given at this time.
