She was a real estate agent in Omaha, Neb., before moving to Mound City in 2002.
Sharon loved her family very much. She enjoyed making Christmas candy and cookies for family and friends, and became a “kitty mama” for many cats. She also enjoyed collecting miniature dishes.
She spent countless hours crocheting items for “Operation Christmas Child” boxes and sending crocheted squares to South Africa where they were made in to blankets for orphaned children.
Following Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned. The family suggests memorial donations to Mound City Christian Church (MCCC). Friends and family may leave online condolences at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
