On 9-10-2023, Tanner J. Feris, La Cygne, was entering Gate 2 of Tanglewood Lakes when the gate shut on the driver’s side wheel well of the truck bed, causing the bed to be scratched and taillight to be removed. (Case 230752)
On 9-12-2023, Joanna M. Archer, St. Joseph, Mo., was traveling southbound on Jackson Road, near 900 Road, when they took a curve too fast, resulting in the vehicle leaving the highway and destroying a sign and barbed wire fence, before coming to rest in a pasture. No injuries reported. Vehicle sustained broken windshield, bent bumper, and damage to the undercarriage. (Case 230758)
On 9-13-2023, Tammi Blanscet, La Cygne, was southbound on Kansas Hwy 7 and took a left hand turn onto Kansas Hwy 52 heading east. An ATV heading north on Kansas Hwy 7 and hit the passenger side quarter panel when Blanscet turned east. Name of driver of the ATV was not listed. (Case 230761)
On 9-21-2023, Katelyn D. Godsey, Osawatomie, was traveling north on Long Road, .2 miles north of 2000 Road, when they hit a deer. No injuries reported. (Case 230779)
On 9-22-2023, Jeri L. Grove, Louisburg, was northbound on US Hwy 69 and struck a deer. No injuries reported. (Case 230781)
On 9-9-2023, Lillian I. Curtright, Prescott, was southbound on US 69 Hwy near mile marker 88 when a deer ran into the roadway and struck the passenger side front panel, causing minimal damage. (Case 230805)
On 9-22-2023, Ciara A. Dinatale, Broken Arrow, Okla., was heading north on US 69 Hwy when a deer entered the roadway, causing the vehicle to strike the deer. The vehicle then spun out of control before landing on the east ditch facing south. No injuries reported. (Case 230786)
On 9-25-2023, Justyn J. Howells, Mound City, was traveling southbound on Kansas Hwy 7 when he fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to run off the roadway. The driver attempted to correct the vehicle, causing the vehicle to roll. Driver was ejected from the vehicle. Injuries were sustained and driver transported by air to hospital. (Case 230796)
On 9-27-2023, Alicia M. Collins, Amsterdam, Mo., was traveling southbound on US 69 Hwy and struck a deer. No injuries reported. (Case 230802)
On 9-27-2023, Sara K. Adams, Centerville, was traveling northbound on County Road 1077 approximately a half mile from W. 1100 Road. A deer entered the roadway and struck the right headlight of the vehicle. No other damage reported. (Case 230804)
On 9-29-2023, Rilee M. Watts, Mound City, was traveling north on Knapp Road and became distracted, causing the vehicle to cross over the center line and left the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn. (Case 230807)
On 10-1-2023, Patricia D. Brake, Prescott, was traveling east on Kansas Hwy 7 .4 miles west of McGrew Road when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the road to the right and hit a ditch. No injuries reported. (Case 230810)
