On 11-14-2025, Ahmed R. Elghali, Warren, Mich., was attempting to leave a parking lot when he missed the exit driveway. The vehicle ran over large rocks and became high-centered in the ditch, causing minor damage to the property and tractor. The accident happened on private property. (Case 251173)
On 11-16-2025, Paul G. Grannes, Corcoran, Minn., was travelling westward on 750 Road when he ran upon some fencing in the road, causing damage to the front sides and underneath the truck. (Case 251183)
11-19-2025, Clayton E. Brown, Pleasanton, was traveling eastward on Kansas Highway 52 heading toward Pleasanton, when a deer jumped out in front of the vehicle near the Scott Road intersection. Damage did occur to the vehicle. (Case 20251201)
11-19-2025, Daniel G. Tulenko, Loveland, Colo., was navigating a curve when a deer entered the roadway. The driver swerved to miss the deer and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin around 180 degrees and went into the ditch. The vehicle was in a steep ditch and had to be towed out. On 11-23-2025, Tyler Stoner, town not listed, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway just north of the 84-mile marker when they struck a deer causing disabling damage. (Case 25228)
On 11-24-2025, Todd B. Robinson, Mound City, was traveling southbound on Kansas Highway 7 and struck a deer at the 108-mile marker. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. Driver was uninjured. (Case 251229)
On 11-24-2025, Kelly L. Lickteig, Ottawa, was traveling northward on Kansas Highway 7 when a deer entered the roadway and struck the front left corner of the vehicle. This caused significant damage to the front left corner. The driver drove the vehicle into a nearby driveway to not be a road hazard. The vehicle needed towed further due to damage. (Case 251230)
On 11-25-2025, Tanner J. Feris, La Cygne, was traveling northbound on US 69 Highway and caught fire near the 85-mile marker. The vehicle was pulling a trailer with an excavator loaded. The trailer and excavator belong to Tanglewood Lakes Association. The vehicle was a total loss. The trailer and excavator appeared to be unharmed. The driver reported smoke inhalation but refused ambulance transportation. No other injuries reported. All vehicles and equipment were hauled away. (Case 251233)
On 12-01-2025, Robert T. Wade, Fort Scott, was traveling southward on US 69 Highway when crossing the 300 Road overpass and lost control on the ice and slid across the median, striking the northbound guardrail. The vehicle was disabled and towed away. (Case 251254)
On 12-02-2025, Heather L. Burke, Lawrence, was traveling westward on 900 Road just west of Vernon Road when a deer struck the driver’s side fender and door area. The vehicle was function with minor damage. (Case 251258)
On 12-02-2025, Jolene K. Crystal, Mapleton, was traveling southward on Kansas Highway 7 when about a quarter mile north of 200 Road, when they struck a deer in the roadway, causing minor functional damage. The vehicle was driven home by the owner. (Case 251259)
On 12-07-2025, Sy R. Snow, Spring Hill, was traveling on Vernon Road near 1000 Road when he was struck by a deer, causing significant damage to the right front quarter panel. The driver’s side wheel was also damaged. (Case 251273)
On 12-08-2025, Gary R. Caylor, Blue Mound, was eastbound on Kansas Highway 52 pulling a trailer. A piece of metal came off the trailer and struck a vehicle driven by Skylar M. Gabrini, Pleasanton. No injuries were reported. Both parties came to the sheriff’s office and filed a report at the office. (Case 251281)
On 12-09-2025, Michael R. Snellings, Mound City, was traveling eastward on Kansas Highway 52 after traveling up a slight hill, a deer entered the roadway, striking the vehicle. The impact was a fatal impact for the deer and caused functional damage to the front right corner of the vehicle. The driver did not report to be injured. The vehicle was driven away by the driver. On 12-11-2025, Ric T. McWilliams, Mound City, was traveling westward on Kansas Highway 52 near the Read Road intersection. The driver stated a group of deer entered the roadway and while crossing, one struck his vehicle. There was damage observed on the front left corner of the vehicle along with deer hair stuck inside the front quarter panel. (Case 241294)
On 12-11-2025, Nathanael R. Livengood¸ Centerville, was traveling westward on County Road 1077 just west of 1525 Road when the vehicle struck a deer causing damage to the front passenger side headlight and passenger side fender. (Case 251296)
On 12-13-2025, Donald R. Danner, Parker, was traveling westbound on 2100 Road near Hadsall Road when a deer entered the roadway striking the front of the vehicle. The deer struck the front right corner of the vehicle, damaging the plastic bumper. The vehicle was drivable and driven away from the scene. (Case 251302)
