On 7-27-23, Kenneth J. Krum, Mound City, backed into a Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas vehicle driven by Courtney L. Robinson, Fort Scott, the driveway of Krum’s residence. No injuries reported. (Case 230625)
On 8-7-23, Jennifer L. Willard, Blue Mound, was eastbound on 750 Lane, and failed to see the vehicle driven northbound on Lane Road by Cory W. Carr, Lawrence, and struck Carr’s vehicle, causing damage to both vehicles. (Case 230651)
On 8-8-23, Tyler J. Shafer, Blue Mound, was eastbound on KS Hwy 52 and struck a deer. No injuries reported. (Case 230653)
On 8-9-23, Randall S. Stinnett, Kincaid, was southwest bound on KS Hwy 52 and struck a deer at the intersection of Lewis Road. Front end of the vehicle was damaged and airbags were deployed. No injuries reported. (Case 230657)
On 8-10-23, Joshua J. Cougill, Prescott, was westbound on Kansas-239 approximately a half mile west of White Road, when a car entered into Cougill’s lane, causing them to swerve. The vehicle overcorrected and entered the right shoulder where it struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn several times. Injuries were sustained and driver was taken to the hospital via air life. (Case 230659)
On 8-11-23, Tonya R. Umphenour, Pleasanton, was traveling southbound on KS Hwy 7 when they struck a deer. No injuries reported. (Case 230662)
