On 04-01-2025, Frances R. Campbell, Linn Valley, was traveling northbound on Ullery Road north of Kansas Highway 152 when a deer ran into the passenger side of the vehicle, causing minor damage to the passenger rear side door, rear quarter panel, bumper and taillight. (Case 250262)

On 04-04-2025, Carol B. Slack, Pittsburg, was traveling northbound on US 69 Highway when the front and rear passenger tires and wheels struck the concrete divider at the 94-mile marker in the construction zone. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger front and rear wheels and tires. (Case 250269)

On 04-10-2025, Darrell L. Gowing, Lane, was traveling eastbound on West 2100 Road near Devlin Road when a deer struck the front left corner of the vehicle. The impact dented the lower driver’s door and front quarter panel of the vehicle and functional damage. (Case 250297)

On 04-20-2025, Tonya F. Gallagher, Osawatomie, was traveling southward on Kansas Highway 7 near Keitel Road, when she lost control of the vehicle due to standing water on the roadway. When the vehicle lost control, it left the roadway to the right, striking a bridge sign. The impact caused damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle, and knocking the sign down. The vehicle came back onto the roadway on the left and came to rest on its wheels. (Case 250332)

On 04-25-2025, Kyle G. Harlow, Mound City, was traveling eastbound on Kansas Highway 31, 100 feet off Flint Road, when he struck a deer and ran off the road into the south ditch. (Case 250344)

On 04-27-2025, Jason M. Phillips, La Cygne, was unlawfully and unsafely towing a semi with a towbar and chains on County Road 1077 near 2200 Road. The chains snapped and the tow bar broke, causing the semi to hit the vehicle in the back, breaking the tail light. The semi then rolled into the ditch, throwing debris in the ditch and road. Phillips then tried to hook the semi back to the back of his truck again, unlawfully and unsafely. The truck made it a little way down the road when it snapped again and proceeded to roll into a deeper ditch, causing debris and mud to be thrown all over the road. (Case 250350)

On 04-28-2025, Sarah L. Hasenaur, Fort Scott, was traveling southbound on US 69 Highway near the exit for 300 Road when a deer jumped in front of the vehicle. The driver then swerved eastward and crossed two-lane of traffic landing in a deep ditch full of water. (Case 250351)

On 05-03-2025, Luke G. West, Kincaid, was traveling westbound on Kansas Highway 31 when just east of Kansas Highway 3, he struck a deer in the roadway. (Case 250377)

On 05-10-2025, Cheyenne Kern, Pleasanton, was traveling northbound on US 69 Highway, when she entered construction at the 96-mile marker, taking the highway to one lane and caused the vehicle to strike a tall cone in the middle of the road. Damage was sustained to the front driver’s side of the car. (Case 250406)

On 05-12-2025, Charles T. Titus¸ Pleasanton, was traveling northbound on Umphenour Road near 1350 Road when a deer entered the roadway. The driver was unable to miss the deer resulting in an accident. (Case 250414)

On 05-21-2025, Shelly D. Collins, Mound City, was turning northbound onto Scott Road from Kansas Highway 52 when the front drivers side tire grazed the left rear corner of the vehicle driven by Nancy Gustin, Mound City. (Case 250448)

On 05-21-2025, Coby J. Pearson, Garnett, was traveling eastbound on West 2200 Road just west of Brown Road when he struck a mailbox. (Case 250452)

On 05-22-2025, Jonathan K. Blunt, Roeland Park, and Yoonhee N. Kang, Catoosa, Okla., were both driving their vehicles northbound on US 69 Highway at approximately mile marker 104 when a side-swipe collision occurred between the two vehicles and causing minimal paint scuffing damage. Both vehicles stopped on the shoulder to await a sheriff’s deputy. (Case 250462)

 On 05-23-2025, Surendra Gangavaram, Mellissa, Texas, was traveling northbound on US 69 Highway near Kansas Highway 52 when a deer ran in front of the vehicle and was struck, causing damage to the vehicle’s front and sides. (Case 250465)
