On 10-10-2025, Todd J. Fitzpatrick, Spring Hill, was traveling westward on Kansas Highway 152 just before Taylor Road when he struck a deer, causing damage to the right-side hood area and the right-side passenger door area. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. (Case 251023)

On 10-10-2025, Thomas R. Thompson, Anna, Tx., was traveling southward on Kansas Highway 7 when, just south of 2300 Road he struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle was operable and driven off by the owner. (Case 251024)

On 10-12-2025, Christopher E. Christian, Centerville, was traveling southward on Dingus Road near West 1600 Road, when he went through a fence and came to rest on its side. (Case 251029)

On 10-22-2025, William E. Feebeck, Mound City, was traveling southward on Ingrahm Road near 600 Road when a cow entered the roadway. The driver was unable to miss the cow, resulting in minor damage to his front left headlight, driver’s door and driver’s side rear quarter panel. The owner of the cow, Jim Johnson, responded to the scene. He and the driver worked out details on repairing damage to the truck. Johnson also called into the Sheriff’s Office a short time later and asked the responding officer if he had driven out into his field as there were tire tracks in the grass. The responding officer informed him that he did not, and had only turned around at the gate but never entered his field. (Case 251076)

On 10-22-2025, Pamela Russell, Fort Scott, was traveling southward, following a truck, on US 69 Highway near mile marker 91, when a small metal box fell off of the truck and struck her vehicle. She was unable to describe the truck or the item any further. The driver called her own tow and requested a report for insurance. Damage appeared functional but there were items hanging from the engine bay underneath the vehicle. (Case 251079)

On 10-22-2025, Janeth Flores-Cantu, Kansas City, Mo., was northbound on US 69 Highway near 1100 Road exit when she struck a deer. (Case 251081)

On 10-23-2025, Tiffany Vannorman, Mound City, was traveling northward on County Road 1095 near 2000 Road when a deer entered the roadway. The driver was unable to miss the deer, resulting in an accident. The vehicle sustained extensive damage to the front and passenger side of the vehicle. (Case 251082)

On 10-23-2025, Virginia E. Lafrinere, Overland Park, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway near 399th Street exit when she struck a deer. (Case 251084)

On 10-26-2025, Justin D. Daniels, Roland, Okla., was traveling eastward on East 1000 Road when, about .35 miles east of Viles Road, he ran off the roadway to the south over a bridge, striking a guardrail and ripping the front passenger tire off, destroying the guardrail and vehicle in the process. On 10-26-2025, Taylor E. Ivie-Mott, Olathe, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway when about 500 feet north of the 850 Road exit when she struck a deer in the roadway, causing minor functional damage. The vehicle was removed by the owner. (Case 251096)

On 10-27-2025, Kartheek Nimmagadda, Overland Park, was traveling southward on US 69 Highway near 300 Road exit when a deer entered the roadway. The driver was unable to miss the deer, resulting in an accident. The impact caused disabling damage to the front end of the vehicle. The vehicle was a rental, and the driver made contact with the rental company and made arrangements for a tow truck. (Case 251098)

On 10-27-2025, Austin D. Allen was traveling eastward on East 1000 Road near Webb Road when a deer entered the roadway. The driver swerved to miss the deer. When doing so, he left the roadway on the right. The rear tire of the truck struck the concrete bridge post, causing damage to both. The driver then called for a tow truck and had the vehicle removed before law enforcement arrived on scene, due to the vehicle being at the bottom of a hill. The driver stated he was afraid he would be hit by other traffic. (Case 251100)

On 10-28-2025, Christina L. Chapman, Pleasanton, was traveling northward on Tucker Road near 6th Street when a deer ran into the driver’s side, causing damage and airbag deployment. The driver sustained a minor injury to the face. (Case 251103)

On 10-30-2025, Joshua T. Kamenca, Overland Park, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway near 2400 Road when a deer came into the roadway. The driver was unable to avoid striking the deer. No injuries reported. The vehicle was disabled due to damage. (Case 251112)

On 10-31-2025, Clayton L. Bridges, Adrian, Mo., was traveling northward on US 69 Highway near 2200 Road when a deer ran out in front of the vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle. (Case 251119)

On 11-01-2025, Timothy A. Alexander, Overland Park, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway at approximately mile marker 97. A deer entered the roadway and stropped in the middle of the roadway. The vehicle struck the deer, springing the hood and shattering the windshield. The crash also caused damage to the right side of the vehicle. The driver did not report any injuries and the vehicle was towed away from the scene. (Case 251120)

On 11-06-2025, Craig D. Peterson, Mound City, was traveling northward on County Road 1095 when he struck a deer near the intersection at East 1500 Road. No injuries reported. The vehicle sustained functional damage to the front and was removed by the driver from the scene. (Case 251139)
